Privacy policy
Effective October 31, 2026
This policy explains how Softranix Solutions handles personal information on softranix.com. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. What we collect on this website
- Contact form. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, topic and message, and your company and phone number if you give them. They are stored in our database in Canada (Montréal) and sent to our inbox so we can reply. A one-way scrambled version of your IP address is stored with the message to limit spam; the address itself is not kept.
- Emails you send us. If you email [email protected], we keep your message, name and email address to answer you and keep a record of our correspondence.
- No tracking. This website has no accounts, cookies, advertising or analytics trackers.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the page and protect it from attacks.
- Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
2. How we use it
Only to answer your questions, provide and bill for our products, keep the website secure and meet our legal obligations, such as tax record keeping. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
3. Payment information
When you subscribe to a product, your card or bank details are entered on Stripe's secure page and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank account number. Stripe's handling of that information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
4. Where information is stored
Contact form records are stored in Canada. Our email and hosting providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We choose providers that protect it to a standard comparable to Canadian law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep correspondence and billing records only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, for example six years for tax records under the Income Tax Act and Excise Tax Act.
6. Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent where it applies. Email our Privacy Officer at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
7. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
